68th Annual Meeting

SHAPE THE FUTURE OF YOUR CREDIT UNION. VOLUNTEER TO SERVE ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

All members interested in serving on the board of directors may contact NICCU, Attn: Scott Shipman. All nominees/candidates must be eighteen (18) years of age at the time of voting, be a member of the credit union in good standing and must express in writing, a willingness to serve as a member of the Board of Directors if electeed. Mr. Shipman will communicate with the nominating committee who will then review candidates and present a list of eligible candidates to the membership prior to voting.

Nominations will not be taken from the floor at the annual meeting. Save the date for Saturday, April 27th from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at the Columbia Club in Mason City serving Dad’s Belgian Waffles. FREE Breakfast for NICCU members & family members. Enjoy waffles and vote from 8:30 AM to 9:55 AM, Business Meeting will begin at 10 AM. RSVP Required.

Board of Directors Results

Thank you to all of the board and nominees for your time and dedicaiton to the credit union. Five great candidates stepped up to volunteer for three open board positions: Mark Brosz, Roger Eskildsen, Tim Latham, Jacob Schweitzer, and Kristen Stockberger. Voting took place in person on May 6, 2023 from 8 AM to 9:55AM at the Columbia Club (551 S Taft Ave, Mason City). One hundred thirty-two (132) valid ballots were returned.

The members who were elected to serve on the North Iowa Community Credit Union Board of Directors to serve a three (3) year term (2023-2026):

 

  • Mark Brosz – Mark is a native of Mason City and has been the owner/operator of Brosz Transmissions in Rock Falls since 1992. Mark has served on the Rock Falls City Council since 1983, Rock Falls Community Center Board since 1985, Rock Falls City Representative since 2001, and is on the Landfill of North Iowa Board. He was elected to the NICCU board in 1998 and became Audit Chair in 2009. He now holds the seat of Chairman of the NICCU board since 2022.
  • Roger Eskildsen – Roger is a life-long resident of Mason City and former owner of Budget Glass. He sold that business in 2000. He was elected to the NICCU board and has served on the credit committee since 1995.
  • Kristen Stockberger – Kristen has lived in Mason City with her husband Ian and their four children for the past nine years. She has been a senior accountant with Hogan Hansen for three years and prior to working in accounting she enjoyed working in healthcare with hospice and assisted living. Kristen has an associates accounting degree and is currently working on obtaining her bachelor’s with goals of sitting for the CPA exam. Keeping busy with various committees are how she gives back to the community including serving as Mason City Music Boosters treasurer, St Paul Lutheran Church council president, and being an active Rotarian. In her spare time Kristen is an avid Iowa State fan and enjoys a good book or weekend travels with her husband.
